BEFORE you uninstall your previous version, follow these directions to make sure you do not loose saved settings
If currently have Version 0.2.1 or higher installed
- Just uninstall the previous version of TW++
Go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Program, find "TW++" and choose to uninstall
it
- TW++ now stores the map highlight save files as well as the campaign.xml file in
directory specific to the Server & world you are using. Therefore, after install,
move your files to appropriate directory in
My Documents\TW++ Saved Files.
If currently have Version 0.2 installed
- Back up saved highlights
Go to the directory where you installed the application (by default it is C:\Program
Files\Bubaribaman\TW++\) and backup all files ending with ".TWPlus2Save"
- Back up compaigns
Go to the directory where you installed the application (by default it is C:\Program
Files\Bubaribaman\TW++\) and backup file w3compaigns.xml
Once you install the new version of the application, move the backed up files to
a new directory created by the install- My
Documents\TW++ Saved Files.
If currently have Version 0.1 installed
- Back up saved highlights
Go to the directory where you installed the application (by default it is C:\Program
Files\Bubaribaman\TW++\) and backup all files ending with ".TWPlus2Save"
Once you install the new version of the application, move the backed up files to
a new directory created by the install- My
Documents\TW++ Saved Files.
